Last Night in Blind Channel

Alaska Bound 2024

Saturday, July 13th, 20224

This is our last day in Blind Channel. We spent the day visiting with old and new friends and talking a walk on the local trail.

But we started the day out getting in line for Blind Channel’s famous cinnamon buns. The last time I was here we missed out. The store opens at 8:30 and the buns often sell out within minutes. I was early in line today.

There goes our caloric allotment for the day:)

Tomorrow we will leave leaving around 10:00 a.m., timing the passage of Seymour Narrows, then on to Comox. It will take us about eight hours. The seas are predicted to be reasonably calm. We are keeping our fingers crossed.
