Alaska Bound 2024

We slept in this morning until 8 which is really sleeping in compared to rising at 5:00 am. We walked to Icy Strait and Cannery Cove where the cruise ships park. There are the usual tourist trap activities, zip line, tree challenge walk, bear tours, outbound treks, etc. We walked the nature trail and then took the free tram back to the Cannery Cove. It has been a nice sunny day.

Along the walk we found this van. Clearly the driver forgot where he parked the car.

Marlene bought this hat for the arrival of her grandson in December. He will have to grow into it. We end with a couple picture of the harbor. Tomorrow we will begin again in earnest to start planning our entrance to Glacier Bay and then where we go from there.
