We begin our last day watching the native street parade where different tribes paraded through the city. It was fun and festive.
We then played cruise tourists and walked the boardwalk along the cruise ship route. We took in a game of corn hole. Marlene beat me(:
We finished off our morning stopping off at DeckHand Dave’s for fish tacos and a beer. There is a covered area with ample tables for eating. The tacos are great. As you can see from the sign below there are strict rules. I will let you do your own translation:)
Tonight we are dining on the boat starting with prawn cocktails finishing off the prawn from last night. We are off to Auke Bay in the morning—we think. I called ahead and spoke with the harbor master and she told me they are pretty full. It is the opening season for prawn and crabbing. If it’s full we have a couple of buoy options or we just power ahead—weather acceptable—and go to Swanson Bay.
They all seem to favor red and black colors. Did you get any info on why that is? Great photos!!
