We left Ketchikan this morning for the Misty Fjords. We settled in to Shoal Water Pass, Behm Canal on the outskirts of the fjords. There was a mooring buoy available but it looked far too shallow for our comfort so we dropped a hook in 50 feet of water for the night.
Tomorrow morning we are going to cruise up into the fjords hoping to get a buoy at PunchBowl. If the buoy is taken then we may elect to drop a hook or continue on to the next fjord, Walker Cove and spend the night in Fitzgibbon.
