Alaska Bound 2024

Saturday June 29th, Sunday 30th

A very short report today. We spent the last two days here in Meyer’s Chuck. Yesterday it was a particularly busy with the dock chocked full of boats and several boats rafted on. It has been the busiest place we have been too, save for Warm Springs.

Today we spent reading, doing laundry (we have a portable washer that does a great job) and planning our travel south. We will leave around 6:00 a.m. tomorrow for Ketchikan. At present we are planning on spending two days in Ketchikan, then moving to Foggy Bay to stage for a July 4th crossing of Dixon Entrance.
