We hated to leave Petersburg. Our new friends, Dan and Darcie made it a truly special place, giving us the opportunity to experience all the different hiking trails along with commentary about the history of the island.

This is a great picture of Darcie and Marlene. We love these folks!! Such a blessing to know them!!

We left Petersburg at 5:00 am this morning bound for Wrangell. This is a picture of our boat traveling along the Wrangell Narrows taken by Dan and Darcie from their house around 5:30 this morning.

We arrived in Wrangell at the Heritage Dock about 10:30. We were able to snag a spot at the end of the dock. The dock, now at 4:30, is pretty full.

We walked into town and observed the totem carvings by a native carver. Beautiful.

We are heading south at first light tomorrow. Most likely destination will be Meyer’s Chuck if there is room at the dock.
