Final Night in the Misty Fjords

Classic morning in the Misty Fjords. Misty, beautiful, breathtaking. We hated to leave Walker Cove after two days but it was time to move on. Next destination, Fitzgibbon Cove, a three hour cruise away. We had the bay to ourselves last night. Just us and the 🐻.

It was an easy three hour cruise. Glassy seas all the way in to the cove. During our cruise we only saw two other boats, one coming out of Fitzgibbon and one passing by.

We went for a paddle around the cove looking for bears. Unfortunately, we did not see any. A blow came up around 2 p.m. We are anchored in 70 feet with about 240 feet of chain out. Gusts were up to about 12 knots twirling the boat around but the anchor held. More like the Space Needle with the revolving restaurant.

We are settled in for the night. Tomorrow morning we are headed to YES bay. Why is it called Yes? Don’t know, looking forward to the answer.
